2021

The Idea Sparks

Founders Rahul & Meera spot a gap — no reliable, affordable EV taxi service in Kerala's Tier-2 cities. They park their day jobs and start sketching the Bitdrive concept.

2022

First Fleet — 3 EVs

With seed funding secured, Bitdrive launches with 3 MG ZS EVs in Ernakulam. The first 100 rides are completed in the opening weekend — demand exceeds all projections.

2023

App Goes Live

The Bitdrive app launches on iOS and Android, bringing one-tap booking, live driver tracking, and upfront fare transparency to riders across 4 cities.

2024

50,000 Rides Milestone

Bitdrive crosses 50,000 completed rides, expands the fleet to 30 vehicles, and introduces premium services — wedding bookings, outstation trips, and hourly rentals.

2025

StarRide Platform Launch

Bitdrive rebrands to Bitdrive StarRide, rolls out the new driver partner app, and launches in 8 new cities — becoming Kerala's largest fully-electric ride-hailing platform.
